WHAT IS HEGEMONY SHIFT
???
Do you really want to know?
Hegemony Shift is a forum, a protocol, a way, a new-school think tank. It is a collection of ideas,
thoughts, beliefs, truths, falsehoods, myths. HS is an expression of creativity from a myriad of
different perspectives, schools, technologies. It is a capture of a moment in time, or a pattern in
history. It is a method or device can we create to allow more individual ideas to be heard, without
losing site of the group.
Hegemony Shift is a quest into the unknown, the explored, the unexplored and re-explored. This metaphor
of quest mimics the motion of the universe.
Everything is in motion, objects constantly moving together and interacting to form something new. Two
people having sex to create a child; a group of people coming together to work on a problem or play a
game. This is all a movement towards a creation of something new. We travel physically, moving place to
place, to different communities, areas, countries, continents, planets. We worship gods, asking them to
transport us from our daily lives, or take us from our suffering; creations of our want for something else.
We watch movies and television. We watch sports events, listen to concerts and listen to people speak.
We read books and newspapers. These are all examples of new ideas and community creations. Things are
always moving and changing whether they be molecules, memes, paradigms or dollars. In the end, all of
this is to gain knowledge or to entertain. The truth is again a quest. Something that we move towards
Goals are also something we move towards. A mate is something we move towards. Death is something we
are moving towards. All tools are created to build, a movement towards development, an end, a completed
project, a betterment. So in the short time we have how much quality can we produce? How much can we
describe our condition and share it with others? How much can we create that is useful and sustainable?
So give it here! We want your idea! We're waiting....
Submit it!!
