After a long absence from Hegemony Shifting, for the magazine anyway, we finally got around to putting out issue 2. Don't assume that it'll be the same as the last, because that is what shifting is about: creating processes and then challenging and updating the powers that follow or lead those processes. I'm rambling. But, that Is how I break out of the symbols, and languages structures that often bind me. It Is amazing how many times we fall into the cycles of using the same words repeatedly. Some mantras can be useful, but saying cool, sweet, or fuck many times as punctuation, or others out of the sheer laziness of a mind not wanting to search for words with which to describe a feeling or experience, are two of the main causes of apathy and loss of the ability to communicate...
